Perseverance is the word I use to describe Tomba

Tomba is the most wonderful dog.  She has persevered through a bout of canine vestibular disease
and arthritis.  Most recently she was diagnosed with pancreatitis.  Dr. Strobel has been a great vet to
Tomba, not only in medicine but in compassion and prayer.  We feel very fortunate to have been as
her doctor.

As a puppy she was rescued from the Cambria County Humane Society, she was one of four
puppies.  She has always enjoyed life and lots of love.

She is mild mannered, very affectionate and playful.  She
now shares her life with her feline friend, Daisy.  Daisy
hides around the corners and leaps out at Tomba to initiate
play time.  She even allows Daisy to share her comfy dog
bed.  It isn't unusual to see them both laying side by side
in the family room.  Tomba loves to sleep more than ever,
she can be observed literally running in her dreams and
barking.  There are times she actually runs herself out of
her own bed:)

She loves to walk the backyard and check out wildlife.
She has traveled throughout, Pennsylvania, West Virginia,
Virginia, New York, Ohio, North Carolina and Tennessee
with her owner Eileen.  She enjoys car rides and doesn't
mind stepping into the shower to get cleaned up.  She has
been witnessed burying her dog bones in the couch and
the backyard.
She has a huge presence in social media as she has her own Facebook page.  She is the mascot for the
Bandshell Bark in Johnstown.  An event founded by her best friend/owner Eileen Graham ten years
ago.  It is a dog walk to raise money for the last standing original bandshell in the United States
dedicated by Franklin D Roosevelt and a newly established diabetic rescue dog fund to help children
with diabetes.  Tomba has been on the cover of the Johnstown Tribune Democrat.

Tomba brings happiness to everyone she meets.
She gets along with everyone and everything.  Everyone loves her. She loves Eileen, and always is by
her side.  She even allows her owners to take countless crazy photos of her.

She gives more love and happiness than any dog I know.
